American Express was looking for a way to make their first-ever Membership Week — a weeklong celebration of their cardmembers — a hit on their social. By combining the easing of travel restrictions with American Express's beloved travel benefits, we saw the perfect opportunity to reawaken the wanderlust of our audience.
In partnership with New York or Nowhere's co-founder, Quincy Moore, we created the IDLEWILD capsule collection: Amex-exclusive travel-wear that was comfy enough for a layover, but smart enough for the lounge. We used Amex's social channels to announce the campaign, drive hype, collect design feedback, and go in production all in 3 weeks!
